We are trying to tie up some of summer's loose ends, even as the hunting seasons are opening, and cooler weather is imminent.
Benjamin got to drive the tractor, a 1966 Ford 2000 gas, while we moved some equipment out of the front yard to a spot in the corner, by the woods.
Upland Bird season opened the 1st of September, and the neighbor, Cliff, took the boys out to some public land and Block Management ground for a try at some of the large Sage Grouse, commonly called Sage Hens.

Nashua, who was left out of the bird hunting last year due to age restrictions in Montana, dropped his first game bird! They all had a fine time, with sunny, warm weather that turned to thunderstorms later that afternoon.
Nice! Your gas ford is newer than ours! And your header photo is simply breathtaking!!
