We so enjoy reading aloud in the evenings before bed. Here is a peek at what we have been reading lately. Nashua couldn't remember these stories, having not heard them since we moved from the cabin in Indiana. So Balser and The Bears of Blue River, by Charles Major it is! Always a treat to revisit old favorites!
As a side note, Ben found a sequel of sorts to The Bears of Blue River on Amazon, Uncle Tom Andy Bill. When he announced his find, his Dad made a surprised exclaimation of remembrance! Seems he had read it as a youngster, and had completely forgotten! I believe we will own this one too, shortly:)
