So much to catch up, where did we leave off?
After 33 days without phone/computer, 9 times power out, 5 high waters, 3 of which threatened the house, we seem to be on the "dry" side of June. We are still getting rain showers every other day or so, like everyone else in the country. But the river has receded, and is on it's way down, still a couple feet above "flood stage".
We really are so thankful for all the ways in which the Lord Yahvah has delivered us and sustained us and strengthened us through this most trying time. This ongoing trial has indeed proved an opportunity for either fear or faith...and I am happy to say that faith has prevailed over fear, the Lord proving Himself steadfast in His promises of safety and provision time and time and time again!
