An online friend of Mtcurman has graciously made our family the happy and surprised (on my part) recipients of an exciting book of tiger hunting in pre-WW II era India. This wonderful ORANGE book was awaiting us at the Post Office, and I read it aloud all the way home from Billings (150 miles! Whew!)! Even in the dark, by cab light!
Doesn't this look exciting? It is well written and puts us in the mind of another favorite, West With The Night, by Beryl Markham.
And the boys wouldn't let Dad out of WalMart without True Grit, a much sought after volume! I am certain it will not disappoint!
Ah! Two great books! I don't know which one I like better! Now all we need is a paper copy of "The Man-Eaters of Tsavo"! THEN we'd be set! :)
